TDI Sidemount Course
The TDI Sidemount Diver course is designed for divers who want to master the lateral configuration with a technical, safe, and efficient approach. You will learn advanced trim, buoyancy control, gas management, and problem-solving in challenging environments. Ideal as a step toward technical or cave diving, this course enhances your performance, safety, and versatility underwater.
Prerequisites:
- Minimum age: 18 years (15 with parental consent)
- SDI Open Water Scuba Diver certification or equivalent
Once certified, you will be able to:
- Dive using a sidemount configuration independently, efficiently, and safely.
- Manage gas properly using two independent bottles with true redundancy.
- Solve common failures and execute specific sidemount emergency procedures.
- Adapt to more demanding environments such as wrecks, walls, or confined spaces.
- Establish a solid technical foundation to progress toward technical diving or cave diving training.
