TDI Intro to Cave Course

The TDI Intro to Cave Diver course is the second level in the cave diving progression and is designed as a direct advancement from the Cavern Diver program. This course introduces divers to the fundamental principles of cave diving using a single primary guideline, refining previously acquired skills while adding essential techniques and procedures for conducting penetrations in a cave environment.

Prerequisites:

Once certified, you will be able to:

Participate in cave diving activities using a single primary guideline without direct supervision, provided the following limits are respected:

  • Maximum depth of 40 meters / 130 feet.
  • No-decompression dives.
  • Restrictions where two divers cannot pass side by side are not allowed.
  • Maintain only a single continuous guideline.
